What's on and coming up...

Here's what's happening in our creative space, the Sail Loft, above the NaviStitch shop on Manningtree High Street over the coming weeks...

This week...

We've got Eleana Marshall putting on her first exhibition in our Sail Loft this week. If you get a chance to visit between now and Saturday afternoon, we'd love you to see her landscape paintings - she enjoys painting on slate as the texture adds to her work, mostly inspired by the River Stour at Wrabness. Don't miss any of our exhibitions - keep an eye on our calendar:

Next week...

From 17th to 27th August artist Amanda Clement-Robinson is in the Sail Loft with her new wildlife and nautical paintings - some of which use found maps and musical scores. Amanda's also offering workshops over the two weeks: silk painting, gelli printing and collographic and block printing - each workshops is repeated during the second week so that you have a choice of 2 dates for each workshop. Find out more and how to book on our calendar.

Coming up...

We're excited to be holding a Maritime Pop-up Market in the Sail loft from 31st August to 17th September. Keep your eyes peeled for more information - it's going to be a great chance for you to stock up on gifts (and treat yourself at the same time) ... more news soon...

And then...

We've got lots of other exciting things on the cards - In September and October we've got workshops from photographer Mike Klencher; also in September we've got a joint exhibition from Anne Plummer and Maekandoo, and then in November David Downes is exhibiting his work in our Sail Loft - more on all of those next time...

More next time...

... But never miss out on any of the events held in our Sail Loft - take a look at our online calendar to both see what's happening, and to book any of our workshops.

If you're an artist or maker and are interested in hiring the Sail Loft for your exhibition, workshop or pop-up even, take a look at details of our space and how to book. We have made a few changes to make it even easier to exhibit with us, please do get in touch if you would like to know more.

Until next time, I wish you calm waters and plain sailing

Sam
